Sorry but I am so frustrated. I am struggling to eat daily just one meal and watching people begging for basic needs while things just keep going up and getting worse. I am not afraid of hard work and at this point I wish I could find a job. I was raised to value work and the products of work.
I am riding a roller coaster of emotions. I wonder daily if I can make another year, somedays I am not sure if I can do another day. I struggle, like most Americans do, to make it through from day to day.
Yes, we are blessed to be Americans and to live in this country. Most of us don't worry if our water is safe to drink (although it sometimes doesn't taste like it), and we have the ability to improve our situations-or so we have been told. Today gas went back up to around $4 a gallon, groceries are crazy high, and our government does not care. We as Americans are allowing non-violent immigrants to be forcefully removed from our country, we are allowing all our rights and freedoms to slowly but publicly taken from us. How far is too far?
I thank God that those who gave their lives or at the very least their youth, such some of our fathers and grandfathers, so we can have those freedoms are no longer alive to watch them go. The "leaders" of the U.S.A. are keeping us looking that way or this way so we do not focus on their actions. And it's working! I am not a member of a political party never have cared about that type of things. But now I wish I had been more aware more alert when I had the ability and energy to fight for what was so freely given to me at birth.
Okay! I am done. Thanks for bearing with me.
